Eating DC: Rice Bar

Yesterday, my friend and I met for lunch sort of half way between our offices.  We were both craving some sort of Asian cuisine, so I did some research and read some reviews and landed on Rice Bar.
Located walking distance from McPherson Square Metro, Farrugut North and West Metros and very close to some of DC’s sight seeing favorites (aka the White House).
Rice bar is perfect for quick lunches (take away and eat in) and has so many fun things to choose from.  It’s sort of Chipotle style where you pick your base, toppings, protein and sauce.  You can choose from a variety of bases (white rice, brown rice, rice noodles, udon noodles, etc) and proteins (spicy or normal tofu, ground beef, teriyaki chicken, egg and much more).   The toppings range from edamame to kale to broccoli and bean sprouts.  And don’t even get me started about the sauces.
I went for the “make your own bibimbap”.  I got white rice, bean sprouts, carrots, broccoli, edamame, seasoned ground beef, egg and spicy peanut sauce. Needless to say, I shall be returning.
