What you Need:
Some sort of noodle (I used thin rice noodles)
Carrot (cut into strips)
Shiitake mushrooms (either fresh or dehydrated.. I used dehydrated because that is what I had, and in that case just make sure to soak them in water for about 20-30 minutes before use)
Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Sriracha for garnish (optional)
2 cloves of garlic
Any cut of steak (I used eye of round sandwich cut)
2 spring onions (chopped)
1. Make your marinade. Combine the minced garlic, dollop of Hoisin sauce, chopped spring onion and soy sauce (eyeball it so you have enough to cover the beef and use as a sauce for your entire dish) in a bowl. Slice your meat and let it sit in the sauce in the fridge for 20 ish minutes (the longer the better)
2. In the mean time, cook your noodles and chop up your carrots and shiitake.
3. In a pan or wok, put down your marinated beef and let cook. Then add in your veggies and lastly your noodles.
4. Mix together and serve! Don’t forget to garnish with sesame seeds and sriracha.
