Eating STL: Kohn’s Deli

This last weekend I was in St. Louis to visit family.  While STL isn’t particularly known for their food- except St. Louis style BBQ- there are always places I need to go when I am there.  Kohn’s Deli is a St. Louis classic for Jewish families and lovers of Jewish food/ Jewish Style meats and deli.

Kohn’s is as classic as it gets- complete with the alt bokhers lunch crowd for the blintz brunch buffet.  This place is a 4-in-1; a deli, restaurant, bakery and grocery store.  We went on Sunday for sandwiches and Dr. Brown’s Cream Soda.

We got (everything to share) a pastrami sandwich, a roast beef sandwich, cole slaw, tuna salad and some matzah ball soup.

Everything was so delicious and it was such a funny scene.  If you are ever in the STL area, specifically near Creve Coeur, I definitely recommend stopping in Kohn’s.
