Ikea Meatball Sub

I’m not the only one who goes to Ikea just for the food… right??

Ingredients (per sandwich):
Baguette; cut into sandwich slices
4 slices of Muenster cheese
2 cups tomato pasta sauce of choice
6-8 Ikea Meatballs

Warming the Balls:
In a small pot, add your pasta sauce.
On a medium heat, warm the sauce through.
Add your meatballs & reduce your heat to a simmer.
Cover & let simmer for about 15 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked entirely through.

Toast:
Preheat your oven to 375F.
On a baking sheet, place your bread inside up.
Brush with butter & place in oven for about 5 minutes.

Assemble:
Once your bread is toasted and your meatballs have warmed through, it is time to assemble the sandwich.
On the bottom slice of bread, put down your meatballs, cover them with sauce & then add your your cheese.
Place back in the oven for about 5 minutes or until the cheese starts to melt.
Put the top on the sandwich & bake for another 5 minutes.
Eat warm!
