Roasted Veggie Pasta Primavera

Ingredients
Fresh or boxed pasta
2 cups asparagus; cut in half
1 cup broccoli
1/2 red onion; sliced
1 cup button mushrooms; cut in 1/4ths
1/2 cup spinach
2 tbsp basil; sliced
Salt & peper
Red chili flakes; optional
3 tbsp olive oil
cheese
Pre-made (jarred or previously made) tomato sauce/ red sauce/marinera sauce

Roast
Preheat your oven to 400F
On a lined baking sheet, place all your veggies down except the spinach.
Season with olive oil, salt, pepper & red chili flakes (if you want).
Roast for about 20 minutes, flipping the broccoli over half way through.

Pasta
Cook pasta as instructed on the packaging.
Drain, oil and set aside.

Sauce
Heat your pasta sauce on the stove.
Once warm, add in the spinach & let wilt.

Combine
Once your veggies are roasted, add them into the pasta sauce.
Plate your pasta, pour the sauce over & top with basil and cheese.
