Drinking DC: Kung Fu Tea

Kung Fu Tea has to be one of my favorite discoveries of the year.  I don’t know about you but I LOVE bubble tea.  It is so delicious and creamy and the tapioca balls are a really nice and different treat.

What is bubble tea, you might ask?  Bubble (or Boba) tea is a Taiwanese tea-based drink that was invented in the 1980s.  The tea-based drink incorporates various tea flavors ( both traditional and fruity) with chewy tapioca balls and different types of jellies, puddings and beans.

What I love about Kung Fu Tea is that not only is it modern and fun, they also have so many flavors and topping options.  You can do endless amount of flavor combinations depending on what you feel like.  My person favorite is the Kung Fu milk tea with tapioca and aloe jelly.

Trust me, if you haven’t already tried bubble tea, put it high on your to-do list.
