Eating DC: Timber Pizza Co.

If you are a pizza lover- or you are a normal human being- DO NOT miss Timber Pizza Co.  Timber Pizza is one of DC’s newest pizza editions and it is definitely here to stay.

It is located up in the Petworth neighborhood, which is slightly inconvenient for those of us who live downtown but it is totally worth the schlep.  (Side note: Petworth is definitely up and coming, so I imagine the location decision was a good call for the future).  The restaurant is small, complete with an open kitchen, picnic table-like seating, and a very small front patio.  They also have a very cute and small hanging bench seat in the front (where I sat).

When I went, we split 3 pizzas for 3 people, which I would actually recommend.  I think we only had about 2 or 3 leftover slices, so definitely worth splitting 3 pies.

We ordered the Cheese Please , The Green Monster and The Tweezy.

Everything about this place is special.  The staff, the pizza flavors, the drinks and the atmosphere.

Although I wish it was a little closer to where I live (which might actually be dangerous) I will absolutely be back to Timber Pizza.
