Halloumi Sandwich



Halloumi cheese slices; amount depends on how many you want in the sandwich

1 Persian cucumber; sliced

1 small tomato; sliced

1 tbsp hummus

1 tbsp garlic dip

Bread of your choice (I used focaccia); toasted

Salt & pepper to taste


In a non-stick pan, with NO OIL, place your sliced halloumi cheese and “grill” until golden brown.

The cheese will take about 3 or 4 minutes on each side.

Once the cheese is grilled, assemble the sandwich.

Spread the hummus and garlic dip on each side of the bread.

Layer the halloumi, tomatoes and cucumbers and top with salt and pepper.
